Greg Welk

I am a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Iowa State University. My work focuses on the assessment and promotion of physical activity in different populations and settings. I teach two courses that include service learning components that reach and impact the local community [Worksite Health Promotion (HS 3800 and Community Health Program Planning (HS 4300)]. I also oversee several related outreach groups (Ciommunity Connections for Public Health, Wellness Works) and serve as a leader of the U-TuRN group and a faculty advisor for the Community Engagement Club.
