About

 Course Description:  Theory and practice of program evaluation and proposal writing in human services including needs assessment, outcome development and measurement, and proposal components. Assessment of programs helps to determine their success in meeting goals.

 

Student Learning Objectives:  This course is an introduction to program evaluation and proposal writing.  By the end of this course, students will:

            - Identify and discuss key components of program evaluation and proposal writing.

            - Collaborate on the development of a grant proposal on a topic of their group’s choice.

      Write a needs assessment

      Develop a program (develop logic model and program description)

      Design a program evaluation

            -Provide constructive oral and written feedback in individual, small and large group settings.
