The Volunteer Center of Story County strives to be the connection between those in need and those who want to take action. Our focus is volunteer, and as a hub for all things volunteering, we want to share our expertise and provide relevant services to those looking to make a difference in the community.
The VCSC was founded in 1982 and has been connecting volunteers to service opportunities with over 200 partner agencies in Story County ever since. VCSC averages 2,800 volunteer referrals per year, posts an average of 100 volunteer opportunities per month, and annually has a $3 million impact in the community.
