About

Our Farmer's Market Hosts are the hospitality experts who go out of their way to make each person who visits the Farmer's Market at Herff Farm feel welcome. They help vendors set up in the morning and then help us greet visitors or do projects in our gardens.  When the market ends they help vendors with set-up and tear-down. All of the training is on-the-job.

A typical Farmers Market shift looks like this:

8:00-9:00am: Help vendors set up
9:00am-1:00pm: Assist CNC&F staff with the info table, work in the garden, assist volunteer guide with Herff House tours, assist with program or workshop (if one is scheduled), or be our Farmers Market mascot.  You decide!
1:00pm-2:00pm: Help vendors pack up
