From Mark Mason on Tuesday evening Gardening:

WE planted carrots marked with red flags, tested water, fixed some leaks, put up a new whiskey barrel. I forgot that K said it was destined to be a potato demo, and we replanted some lavender and oregano - please take this down and do potatoes! The soil was rejuvenated with some fertilizer

Took out some overripe brassicas that are attracting bugs - there are plenty more - please remove from garden. All kale and collards would be harvested now if you will eat some. Collards are my favorite. Cook some pork - bacon is nice! and sauce some onion in the fat. Cut the stem out of the collard leaf and chop it to add to onion. Add chopped leaves. Add some water or broth as it starts to dry up. Cover/stir. . Cook at least 1/2 hr- a few hrs! make cornbread — or maybe pancakes

Still time to plant some radishes - we did not get around to them.

THERE ARE YELLOW JACKETS IN THE S/W CORNER LEG OF THE TREASURE CHEST. I PUT A MUD PLUG IN THE HOLE THEY WERE USING (ready for ‘survivor’ ). i will get to the store for poison unless someone has better way…

Best
