Worksite Wellness

The intern will be working through the Wellness Works outreach program and the Community Campus Partnership for Health (CCPH) outreach program to build and support engagement of worksites in the Active People – Healthy Nation initiative launched by the CDC. The long-term vision is provided on the attached page, but the focus of this specific internship will be on building the capacity and programming strategies needed to effectively manage the project and to support engagement in worksite programming, including the Walk with Ease in the Worksite program currently offered by Wellness Works. The project will provide opportunities to apply a range of skills and offer unique insights into the overall coordination of public health and worksite programming. They will apply programming and communication skills through social media, websites, email to promote engagement by organizations as well as individuals.
